The MCIs reported below represent the 2025 Year-End totals.
Assaults – A total of 2,227 Assaults were reported in 22 Division in 2025 representing a 2.8% increase over 2024.
The 2,227 reported Assaults in the 22 Division number is very deceiving as it includes the assaults taking place within the Toronto South Detention Centre, a large, modern maximum-security jail for adult males that opened in 2014, replacing older facilities like the Don Jail and Mimico Correctional Centre. It's a provincial correctional centre for those awaiting trial or serving shorter sentences and is located at 160 Horner Ave, near Kipling Ave. in the Mimico-Queensway neighbourhood.
Auto Thefts – A total of 603 Auto Thefts were reported in 22 Division in 2025 representing a 36.8% decrease from 2024.
Break & Enters (B&E) – A total of 531 B&Es were reported in 22 Division in 2025 representing a 16.6% decrease from 2024.
Theft Over – A total of 201 Theft Over crimes were reported in 22 Division in 2025 representing a 15.5% increase over 2024.
The "Theft Over" MCI used by the Toronto Police Service represents the act of stealing property that is valued in excess of $5,000, specifically excluding auto theft.
Robbery – A total of 166 Robberies were reported in 22 Division in 2025 representing a 45.6% increase over 2024.
