Student Leadership Award

Supporting Our Future Leaders

Young people are the future, and they have the potential to become leaders in various fields, from politics and business to science and the arts. Their fresh perspectives and innovative ideas are essential for driving progress and addressing complex challenges.

 To support these future leaders we annually offer eligible graduating high school students within the 22 Division catchment the opportunity to apply for a financial Student Leadership Award (SLA) to support their first-year studies at a certified Canadian college or university of their choice.

In 2025 four applicants will have an opportunity to be awarded a sum of $2,000 each. *

To qualify as an an eligible applicant you must:

  1. Live and attend a high school within South Etobicoke **

  2. Submit your application by the deadline - June 1, 2025

  3. Enrol in a certified Canadian Canadian college or university on a full-time or even part-time basis
