Student Leadership Award

Supporting Our Future Leaders

Young people are the future, and they have the potential to become leaders in various fields, from politics and business to science and the arts. Their fresh perspectives and innovative ideas are essential for driving progress and addressing complex challenges.

 To support these future leaders we annually offer eligible graduating high school students within the 22 Division catchment the opportunity to apply for a financial Student Leadership Award (SLA) to support their first-year studies at a certified Canadian college or university of their choice.

In 2026 four applicants will have an opportunity to be awarded a sum of $2,000 each. *

To qualify as an an eligible applicant you must:

  1. Live and attend a high school within South Etobicoke **

  2. Submit your completed application by the deadline - June 1, 2026

  3. Be enrolled full or part-time in a certified Canadian Canadian college or university (Fall 2026)

For those graduating high school in 2027 stay tuned for details about our 2027 Student Leadership Award which will be released in early 2027.
