FoNTRA (Federation of North Toronto Residents' Associations), in conjunction with FoSTRA (Federation of South Toronto Residents' Associations), is sponsoring the tenth annual Residents' Association Planning Forum. Invitations are extended to 150+ residents' associations and neighbourhood associations across the City. This will be an in-person event and will not be recorded.
Residents have seen and experienced dramatic changes in the regulations that govern planning and housing across the city. Some of these changes are a result of the political climate and economic conditions, and the housing intensification efforts of the provincial and municipal governments.

The guest speakers for the event will include Jason Thorne, Chief Planner & Executive Director - City Planning and Valesa Faria, Executive Director - Development Review.
There will be two segments, each including a Presentation, Q&A session and Breakout discussion. The titles of these segments are:
Jason Thorne: Planning for Growth in Toronto
Valesa Faria: The Development Review Process
ELIGIBLE ORGANIZATIONS:
The forum is an educational session and a feedback opportunity for representative members from residents' associations across the city.
NOTE: Attendance is limited to two representatives from each association due to the size of the venue.
