Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence
YourChoice.to is a one-stop shop for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence to find resources and support services that are accessible to them. Whether their choice is to confide in a friend, go to the hospital, seek legal advice or report to the police, the website is designed to empower survivors to make choices with respect to the process that is right for them.
The YourChoice.to website features:
- a downloadable Guide for Survivors Sexual Assault — a 26-page Guide dedicated to providing answers to questions most commonly asked by survivors of sexual assault — translated into 12 different languages
- a community resource map
- video messages
- links to other critical community service providers
The website was developed through grant funding from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services and in partnership with Ryerson University and MCIS Language Solutions. The following agencies/organizations also assisted in the website’s development:
